I'm still here!

I know it is really cold out and we all want to cuddle up on the couch or in bed with a big cup of hot chocolate and some warm home cooking.
Tonight mom made some homemade chicken soup. It was so good! It had chicken and lots of veggies!
I found some snacks and things for me to eat during the day that I wanted to share.
At Target, they have these deli made lunch and snack packs. My favorite is the chicken salad.
It comes with 1 serving of chicken salad, a handful of red and green grapes, a handful of carrots
and about 6 or 7 whole grain crackers. I have to say, it is awesome! They also have one that is just grapes, cheese, crackers, and salami. OMG I am hooked. It is the right portion size and everything is fresh and tastes amazing.
Today I found a broccoli salad they had and I could eat this every day. It is big fresh broccoli bits, a little bit of bacon, a little bit of shredded cheese, and some kinda of light sauce. It really was good!

I am really proud of myself for trying to find the healthy thing to eat during the day! I am looking at packages and reading labels. I am looking at ingredients, and checking for sugars, carbs, and fat! Oh and calories.
I really suck at keeping track of what I eat during the day and writing everything down so I haven't even touched the calorie tracker website. I thought I would be able to do it but I just forget and by the time I remember I have forgotten what I ate and how much!!! That sucks!

I haven't weighed myself in a few days so I am anxious to find out if I have made it under 200.
I have been staying active though. I actually went outside the other day before it got really cold and played some football with the kids and Randy. It was fun. We came up with a game were we tossed the football in a circle and if you dropped it you were out. The last person standing got to pick an exercise that everyone else had to do. Like jumping jacks, push ups, sprints, squats (which Jacob thought mommy looked funny doing so he kept picking this one) and sit ups. We would have to do 10 of which ever was chosen. Man, I am still sore. But I have been doing squats everyday just to keep my legs in check. Cuz they feel like jello!!
Well I hope you all are finding ways to exercise and eat healthy during this winter freeze!

Stay warm!
Lots of Love!!!!!
